# Kushim

> AI money manager for Indian professionals who hate logging expenses.

Kushim is a subscription personal finance app (₹299/month, 15-day free trial) that uses AI to log, categorise, and analyse spending. It is built for the Indian market and works with Indian banks, UPI payments, and INR.

## What Kushim does

- **AI chat logging**: Users describe what they spent in natural language ("₹450 Zomato just now") and Kushim logs, categorises, and confirms it instantly.
- **Receipt and screenshot extraction**: Users share Google Pay, PhonePe, or any payment confirmation screenshot — Kushim extracts the transaction details automatically using AI vision.
- **Bank statement import**: Users upload a bank statement PDF (HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis, Kotak, and others). Kushim parses every transaction and imports them all at once.
- **Split and IOU tracking**: Users log shared expenses and track who owes what. Ask "how much does Priya owe me?" at any point.
- **Spending insights**: Category breakdowns, monthly trends, cash flow, and on-demand forecasts via AI chat.
- **Transfer tracking**: Moves between the user's own accounts are correctly excluded from spend totals.
- **Subscription detection**: Identifies recurring charges, their cost, and next renewal date.

## What Kushim does NOT do

- Kushim does **not** connect to banks or read bank credentials.
- Kushim does **not** run ads or sell user data.
- Kushim does **not** require UPI Autopay or Google Play billing.
- Kushim does **not** automatically pull any data — users control everything that enters the app.

## Privacy

- No data selling, no ads
- Financial data is stored in India (Supabase + Railway infrastructure)
- AI processing uses Anthropic (Claude) under strict data agreements
- Users can delete all data at any time: privacy@kushim.money
